John Cossey has extensive work experience in the fashion retail industry. John started their career as a Management Trainee at Moss Bros. Group Plc in 1987 and worked there until 1990. John then joined Cecil Gee as a Senior MAA from 1991 to 1992. In 1994, they worked as an Assistant Merchandiser at Pink Shirtmaker.

From 1995 to 2013, Cossey worked at Jigsaw UK in various roles, including Merchandiser - Womenswear, Senior Merchandiser - Womenswear, Merchandise Manager, Head Of Merchandising, and Global Head of Merchandising. In these positions, they were responsible for managing the overall merchandising functions for various product categories and locations and achieved significant financial growth and profit increases. John also implemented strategic initiatives like weekly store focus meetings and improved gross margins.

Since 2019, Cossey has served as the Global Head of Operations and Logistics at Jigsaw UK.
