Hildur Ólafsdóttir has held a variety of roles in the software engineering and research fields. In 2010, they worked as a summer employee at Arion Bank. The following year, they worked as a summer employee at Landsnet. From 2011 to 2012, they were a student at the University of Iceland, earning a B. Sc. in Computer Science in June 2012. Hildur then worked as a summer employee at Verkís in 2012. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at ETH (System Security Group). Hildur then served as a Software Engineer at WOW air from 2018 to 2019, before becoming a Software Engineer at Jiko in 2019.
Hildur Ólafsdóttir began their educational journey in 2004 when they attended Menntaskólinn Í Reykjavík until 2008. Hildur then attended Háskóli Íslands from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. In 2012, they continued their studies at ETH Zürich, where they earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology in 2014.
