Roman Alekseev

Roman Alekseev has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies.

Starting in 2012, Alekseev worked as a Front-end Developer at Veeam Software for two years. Later, from 2014 to 2015, they served as a Front-end Developer at Odnoklassniki, one of the largest social networks in the world.

In 2015, Alekseev joined trivago and held multiple roles. As a Software Engineer, they developed a favoriting system and designed an improved member area. Subsequently, as a Lead Software Engineer, Alekseev implemented Price Alerts for hotels and designed and implemented the trivago JavaScript OAuth SDK. In their final role at trivago as Domain Technical Lead, Alekseev migrated the member area to the main domain, managed Smart Lock implementation, and developed a new mobile menu.

From 2018 to 2020, Alekseev worked at InfluencerDB, holding two positions. As the Head of Frontend Development, they designed and architected the frontend for the pro platform, introducing a style guide for components. Later, as the Director of Engineering, Alekseev managed the engineering team, led scrum ceremonies, and formed the product vision and milestone planning.

Alekseev joined LTN Global in 2020 as the Director of Engineering. In this role, they identified pain points in the engineering team and reworked the workflow, established QA processes, and collaborated with the product manager to shape the roadmap.

The most recent entry in Alekseev's work experience is their current position as an Engineering Manager at Jimdo, starting in 2021.

Roman Alekseev attended Saint Petersburg State University from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Mechanics.
