Deepak Goenka

Deepak Goenka has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Their most recent role was as the Global Chief Financial Officer Europe at Jindal Films, a leading manufacturer of specialty BOPP film with revenues of $1Bn. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Finance Reporting, Planning & Controlling at ArcelorMittal, the world's leading steel and mining company. Deepak also served as the Regional Finance Head for Logistics Business at Reliance and as the Deputy General Manager (Finance) at Ambuja Cements ltd. Early in their career, they worked as an Ass. Manager (Management audit) at Birla Corporation Limited.

Deepak Goenka has a strong education background in the field of finance and accounting. Deepak completed their Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata in 1993. Following this, they pursued further professional qualifications. In 1994, they completed their Cost & Works Accountant degree from the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India. Deepak then obtained their Chartered Accountant degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1995. Lastly, in 1996, they obtained their degree as a Company Secretary from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
