Vikas Chandra has extensive work experience in the steel industry. Vikas currently serves as the President of Jindal Tubular USA since October 2021. Prior to this, they held a management role at Jindal Tubular USA LLC starting from December 2019. Their career started at Jindal SAW Limited in 2004, where they worked in marketing until December 2019.

Vikas Chandra completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing/Marketing Management from BVIMR, New Delhi in the years 1999-2001.
