Francesco de Stales

Francesco De Stales is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel Europe at Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. since April 2020, and previously as an Independent Senior Consultant from February 2018 to April 2020, providing legal advisory for start-ups and corporate clients. From July 2010 to January 2018, Francesco held the position of Senior Global Legal Counsel at Trina Solar, where responsibilities included negotiating commercial contracts and navigating complex regulatory frameworks. Prior roles include EU Project Manager - Legal at Trina Solar, Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, and Trainee Lawyer at Carnelutti Studio Legale Associato and Pezzi Lugaresi & Associati. Francesco holds an LL.M in American Law & International Legal Practice from Loyola Law School and a Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
