Rouel Shonhiwa

Rouel Shonhiwa is an experienced Process Engineering Technician at Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. since March 2015, contributing to LEAN manufacturing efforts and training new production operators on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician at TT Hydraulics, responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment, and an internship as a Junior Mechanical Technician at the South African Astronomical Observatory, where responsibilities encompassed mechanical CAD design, telescope maintenance, CNC programming, and project management. Early career experience includes working as an Artisan Assistant at Petrel Engineering, focusing on assembly, maintenance, and pressure testing of hydraulic systems. Rouel completed a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Africa and holds a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
