Andrew Beeken

Andrew Beeken is a skilled technology professional with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as Technical Team Lead for Open Policy Finder at Jisc since September 2021, Andrew directs a team focused on developing user interfaces, backend systems, and public API services while aligning with various Open Access initiatives. Previous roles include Software Developer at Laser Red, Developer for the University of Lincoln, and a series of freelance and contract positions focused on web development and research infrastructure support for academic and scientific communities. Andrew holds a BSc in Computing (Visualisation) from Nottingham Trent University and an HND in Computing from Lincoln College.
