Nicola Phelps

Nicola Phelps has a diverse work experience in the field of data analytics and higher education statistics. Nicola currently holds the position of Head of Product, Jisc data analytics, where they are responsible for delivering higher education data and analytics products and services. Prior to this, they worked at HESA: Higher Education Statistics Agency as Head of Product, where they led a team in developing and launching analytical visualizations and dashboards. Nicola also served as Head of Digital Services and heidi Service Manager at HESA. Before their time at HESA, Nicola worked as a Management Information Systems Manager at Hartpury University and Hartpury College, and as an Information and Research Officer at Gloucestershire County Council.

Nicola Phelps obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Ancient History and Applied Social Studies from Keele University, where they attended from 1996 to 1999. Nicola also achieved certifications from the Scrum Alliance as a Certified ScrumMaster® in 2019 and as a Certified Scrum Product Owner in 2020.
