Angelique Porta has had a varied and extensive work experience. In 2012, they were a Defense Analyst for the Armed Forces of the Philippines. From 2015 to 2016, they held the role of Legal Intern for the Office of the Solicitor General of the Philippines, and during the same period, they were also a Student Associate for Ateneo Legal Aid Services and a Student Volunteer for the Humanitarian Legal Assistance Foundation, Inc. (HLAF). From 2019 to 2021, they were a Supervising Legislative Staff Officer (Policy Lawyer) for the Senate of the Philippines, a Legal Assistant for the Department of Energy Philippines, and an Attorney IV for the Department of Transportation - Philippines. Currently, they are an Intern for the Student Outcomes Group at Macquarie University, a Legal Administrative Assistant at Hammond Nguyen and Turnbull, and a Talent at Jitjatjo.

Angelique Porta began their education in 2008 when they attended Miriam College, earning a BA in International Studies with a focus on Development Studies in 2012. Angelique then attended Ateneo de Manila University from 2013 to 2017, earning a Juris Doctor in Law. Porta is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainability Studies at Macquarie University, which they began in 2022.
