Sanjeeva Kumar Jha

Sanjeeva Kumar Jha possesses extensive experience in sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and community development. Currently serving as Head of Sustainability & CSR at JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd. since June 2017, Sanjeeva previously led CSR and environmental functions for the 900 MW Upper Karnali Hydro Project in Nepal from September 2015 to June 2017. Sanjeeva also held significant roles at GMR Varalakshmi Foundation and GMR Delhi International Airport (P) Ltd, managing CSR initiatives across multiple regions in India and Nepal, emphasizing education, health, and community development. Earlier positions included leadership roles at ChildFund India, UNICEF, and Integrated Development Foundation, focusing on reproductive health, social mobilization, and project management. Sanjeeva holds a Post Graduate degree in Economics and multiple diplomas related to child rights and rural development, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Economics.
