Fred Bentley

Commercial Mechanical Estimator at JK Mechanical

Fred Bentley has worked in the mechanical engineering industry since 1991. Fred began their career at G. R. Sonaugle and Sons Inc. as a Mechanical Designer and Project Manager. In 2003, they moved to Webber/Smith Associates as a Mechanical Designer. In 2005, they took on the role of Chief Engineer at American Genius Corporation, providing technical support for new HVAC equipment sales and design. In 2006, they joined Protech Mechanical Contractors Inc. as a Sales/Design Engineer, overseeing the service and HVAC construction departments. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Webber/Smith Associates again, this time as a Senior Mechanical Designer. Finally, they moved to J K Mechanical Inc. in 2015, where they currently work as a Commercial Mechanical Estimator.

Fred Bentley attended Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology from 1975 to 1976, where they earned a 2 Year degree in Electrical Studies. Fred then attended Borg-Warner School of Refrigeration from 1979 to 1981, where they earned a Certificate of Completion in Advanced Refrigeration. In 1990, they attended Penn State University and obtained a Certified Project Manager certification. Fred also studied Project Management/ Business Management at Penn State University, but did not receive a degree.
