Shahzad Bemani

Shahzad Bemani is an experienced financial professional currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at JM Financial Asset Management Ltd since January 2024. Previously, Shahzad held the same position at Quantum Asset Management Company Pvt. Ltd from February 2022 to December 2023. Prior to that, Shahzad was the Head of Investment Operations at Baroda Asset Management India Ltd from October 2013 to February 2022. Shahzad's career also includes roles as Manager in PMS Operations and Operations at Edelweiss Asset Management Limited from July 2007 to October 2013, Senior Associate in Fund Accounting at GlobeOp Financial Services (India) Private Limited from July 2005 to July 2007, and Assistant Manager in the Management Services Division at Haribhakti & Co. from December 2004 to June 2005. Shahzad holds a B.Com in Accounting and Finance from K.C. College and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
