Jim McGinley

Jim McGinley joined JM Search 20 years ago and has been instrumental to the firm’s growth and success. A Partner in the firm, Jim focuses on recruiting CEOs, C-Suite executives, and other senior leaders for private equity-backed businesses and publicly traded companies. Jim’s clients span the industrial sector, and he leads the firm’s Industrial Technology practice, where he recruits in segments that include test and measurement, industrial automation, analytical instrumentation, and sensors.

Since Jim joined JM Search in 1998, he has been recruited across many industries, including industrial manufacturing, packaging, food, and consumer products. His long-term relationships and multifaceted expertise position him as a sought-after consultant by private equity investors, board members, and CEOs who need to upgrade or add to their leadership teams. Before JM Search, Jim spent a decade in sales leadership roles with Waste Management and Aramark. In addition to recruiting, Jim plays a key role in general operations for the firm and oversees financial performance management.

Jim earned a B.S. in Marketing from Philadelphia University.
