Illya Thomas

Illya Thomas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, leadership, and diversity initiatives. Currently serving as Vice President of Research and Development at The J.M. Smucker Co., Illya leads a multidisciplinary team to drive the Pet business strategy and innovation. Previously, Illya held senior roles at Procter & Gamble, including Vice President of Human Resources and Global R&D Vice President for the Pampers brand, overseeing significant innovation and product development efforts. In addition to corporate roles, Illya is a keynote speaker and educator, focusing on leadership development and diversity, equity, and inclusion through Thomas Consulting LLC. Illya's academic background includes a Doctor of Ministry and a Master of Divinity, complementing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
