Kevin Schorp

Kevin Schorp has extensive experience in the coffee manufacturing industry, currently serving as Plant Manager for the Smucker Silo Operation at The J.M. Smucker Co. since June 2012. In this role, Kevin oversees the importation, cleaning, testing, and preparation of unroasted coffee for roasting operations in New Orleans, contributing to the company's position as the largest importer at the port. Previous roles include Plant Engineer, where Kevin led engineering and utilities teams for significant capital projects, and Coffee Business Initiatives Manager, focusing on project leadership and employee development across two coffee factories. Additionally, Kevin has a background as a Senior Project Manager and Manufacturing Operations Manager, ensuring successful process improvements and department management. Kevin's educational background includes a degree from Tulane University, obtained between 1997 and 2001.
