Andrew Vinals has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Andrew started their career in 1996 at Odebrecht as a Cost/Schedule Engineer, responsible for reviewing subcontractor pay applications and managing project schedules. In 1998, they joined Ocean Club Development as a Project Engineer, where they handled various responsibilities such as subcontractor pay applications, change orders, drawing revisions, and scheduling.
From 1999 to 2005, Andrew worked at Lend Lease, where they progressed from a Project Engineer to a Project Manager. Andrew gained experience in different disciplines and also served as a Prolog Administrator for the company.
In 2006, they joined Pavarini Construction as a Quality Control PM and later became an MEP Project Manager. In these roles, Andrew managed project managers, identified conflicts, and suggested solutions.
In 2008, they moved to Link Construction Group as a Project Manager and Estimator, where they were involved in estimating and managing projects until 2014.
Since 2014, Andrew has been working at John Moriarty & Associates as an Operations Manager - MEP. Andrew'sresponsibilities include budget development, estimating, subcontractor proposal review, and project management for the ECHO High-rise Project in Miami.
Andrew Vinals earned a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree in Bachelor of Art & Design from the University of Miami, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Andrew then pursued a Masters of Science and Construction Management degree in Construction Management from Florida International University, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Andrew obtained a General Contractor's License from the State of Florida in July 2013.
