Suken has been at JMI since 2012. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities as well as providing strategic and operational support to portfolio companies. Suken is currently a director of Applied Systems, Arena Solutions, HackerRank, and Lytics, and a board observer at Code42 and Seismic Software. Prior to joining JMI, Suken was an associate at Hellman & Friedman, where he invested in software and digital media companies. He also assisted portfolio companies with growth initiatives, joint ventures, and exit opportunities. Earlier, Suken worked as an investment banker in the financial sponsors group at Morgan Stanley, where he advised software, information technology and other companies on leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions and public offerings including the sale of DoubleClick to Google. Suken also helped build the Chrome platform as a product manager on the Chrome team at Google.
