Steven Roese has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Steven started their career in 1982 as the Director of Finance, Comptroller, and Accounting Manager at the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care, where they worked for 25 years until 2007. During their time there, they oversaw financial management and accounting responsibilities.
Following this, Steven joined Healthways in 2007 as a Senior Finance Director. In this role, they were responsible for managing the finances of a start-up business unit with a budget of $22 million. Steven also played a crucial role in preparing self-funded employer health outcome reports and collaborating with the senior management team.
Steven then moved to PP of the Heartland in 2009, where they served as the Director of Accounting. Steven also liaised with auditors and prepared documents for annual 990 returns.
Most recently, Steven joined JMT Consulting Group in 2014 as a Project Consultant. In this capacity, they delivered implementation services and provided training and support on various financial management software platforms to clients. Steven conducted scoping, discovery, and planning sessions for financial management applications. In addition, they supported clients in utilizing the tools and processes implemented by JMT and facilitated data conversions.
