Li Ann Chew

Li Ann graduated from UCL in 2018 with a Law degree before going on to do the Bar Professional Training Course with a Master of Laws at City, University of London. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales as a member of Middle Temple in 2019. Li Ann then returned to her home country of Malaysia to complete a pupillage/training contract in the Corporate department of a large Malaysian law firm where she assisted on various IPOs and other corporate and capital markets transactions over the course of her training. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Courts in Malaya in 2020. Li Ann made her way back to London in September 2020 to train with a City firm where she gained experience in various practice areas including Corporate and Commercial, Employment, Family, Dispute Resolution and Commercial and Residential Property. She completed her LPC part-time during her training contract and achieved a Distinction. She qualified in September 2022 prior to joining JMW.
