Joanna Pertz Landscape Architecture (JPLA) is an award-winning practice that brings together refined design and environmental expertise to create timeless landscapes that enrich the ecological and social health of our communities.
JPLA has over 25 years of experience designing and building landscapes in NYC and beyond.  Our clients include Architects, Developers, City Agencies, Healthcare Providers, Educational Institutions, and Non-profit Organizations. Our portfolio of work includes a range of scales and project types including multi-family, affordable and senior housing developments, playgrounds, schools, hospitals and healthcare campuses, waterfront parks, roof terraces, and private gardens. 
As a practice, JPLA fulfills a unique niche in providing both high-level landscape architectural design services and long-term horticultural support. OUR PROCESS
JPLA brings to each project a facility with the tools of conceptual design, technical construction, innovative thinking, and attention to detail. Through a thoughtful design process, JPLA responds to the specific character of the adjacent buildings, the site’s micro-climate, and natural and cultural surroundings to develop an understanding of the project’s unique context.
