Helene Schiffbaenker

Helene Schiffbaenker is a Senior Researcher and deputy head of the research group TIP - Technology-Innovation-Policy Consulting at JOANNEUM RESEARCH Forschungsgesellschaft mbH, where work focuses on gender and equal opportunities, with particular attention to the career perspectives of female researchers, the impact of paternity leave, and structural changes in research organizations. Prior to this role, Helene Schiffbaenker served as a researcher at IFA Vienna from January 1996 to August 2001. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Sociology from the University of Vienna and a research fellowship at Örebro University as part of the center of gender excellence.
