Ruzica Luketina

Ruzica Luketina is a social scientist currently working at JOANNEUM RESEARCH Forschungsgesellschaft mbH since September 2023. Prior to this role, Ruzica focused on family responsibilities as a mother from February 2022 to September 2023 and served as a project officer at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) from February 2020 to February 2022. Ruzica co-founded circle17 at respACT and AustrianStartups, facilitating networking and innovative solutions in sustainable development from June 2018 to April 2020. Ruzica’s earlier experience includes positions as a research assistant at Haplogen Bioscience, exhibition designer at Südwind, project assistant for the EU Commissioner for Environment, and roles in science communication at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. Ruzica holds multiple degrees, including a Dipl.-Ing. in Bioresources Management from BOKU and a Master’s in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Graz.
