Darren Wood Cpa

Darren Wood has an extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Darren is currently serving as the VP of Finance at Jobber since May 2021 and previously held the position of Director of Finance and Operations from July 2015 to May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Intuit as a Senior Accountant from January 2011 to October 2014. During their time at Intuit, they managed various responsibilities including treasury, intercompany transactions, inventory, and indirect tax policy and audits. Before Intuit, they were a Financial Analyst at Western Economic Diversification Canada from June 2009 to December 2010, where they oversaw economic research for western Canada and assisted with managing the operating budget.

Darren Wood obtained their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Alberta from 2003 to 2008. Darren then participated in an exchange program at Lancaster University from 2005 to 2006, focusing on Business. In 2010, Darren completed their Certified Management Accountant designation in Accounting, which took him two years to complete.
