VP of Finance & Accounting at Ridecell

Joshua Jacobs has extensive work experience in various finance and accounting roles. Joshua is currently the Vice President of Finance & Accounting at Ridecell since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the VP of Finance & Controller at Ecotrak Facility Management Software from 2022 to 2022, where they operated as the de facto CFO and led funding efforts. From 2019 to 2021, Joshua served as the VP of Finance at Pelco, where they played a crucial role in the sale of the business to Motorola Solutions, Inc. and handled revenue forecasting and analytics. Earlier in their career, they worked at PwC as a Business Development professional and Deals Consultant, advising clients on M&A and private equity transactions. Joshua also has leadership experience at the University of Southern California and served as the President of the USC Veterans Association, where they played a key role in creating a Veterans Resource Center. Before their civilian career, Joshua served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant, managing a significant account of the infantry battalion's assets while deployed to Afghanistan.

Joshua Jacobs pursued their education in a chronological order that began in 2003 at UC Santa Barbara, where they completed their studies in Business/Managerial Economics from 2003 to 2006. After a brief gap, they enrolled at the USC Marshall School of Business in 2011 and successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 2013. Later on, they continued their academic journey at the University of Southern California, graduating with a Master's degree in Accounting in 2014.
