Jochen Mauch

Jochen Mauch has a diverse work experience in the field of user research and UX design. Jochen is currently working at JobCloud SA | jobup.ch - jobs.ch as the Head of User Research, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior UX Researcher at the same company, from April 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining JobCloud SA, Jochen worked at HolidayCheck AG, where they served as a Research Operations Manager from January 2020 to November 2020. Jochen also held the roles of Senior UX Research Manager from June 2019 to December 2019 and UX Research Manager from March 2016 to May 2019 at the same company.

In addition, Jochen worked as a UX Designer at smartpatient GmbH from January 2014 to March 2016. Jochen also worked as a UX Researcher at HolidayCheck AG from June 2015 to December 2015. Prior to their industry experience, Jochen served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Konstanz from October 2012 to September 2013.

Jochen Mauch completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich from 2013 to 2015. Jochen then pursued their studies in Computer Science at FernUniversität in Hagen from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, they obtained their Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of Konstanz, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. In 2010, they also spent a semester as an exchange student at the University of Technology Sydney, focusing on Information Technology and HR.
