Santeri Karevaara

Santeri Karevaara has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Santeri is currently working at Jobilla as a Group Controller since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Controller at the same company from January 2022 to December 2022. In this role, they handled day-to-day finances, supervised a team, managed accounting with an outsourced partner, handled intercompany invoices and consolidations, performed monthly closing and reporting, assisted with auditing and financial statements, managed payroll, cash management, and served as a key user for financial systems and software. Santeri also conducted ad-hoc analyses.

Before joining Jobilla, Santeri worked at Continental as an Assistant Controller throughout 2021, and at Siemens Osakeyhtiö as a Controller Trainee from April 2020 to December 2020. At Siemens, they were responsible for monthly closing, reporting, business controls, financial planning, internal controls, process development, and conducted ad-hoc analyses.

Santeri also has experience working at OP Corporate Bank (former Pohjola) as a Securities Officer from May 2019 to September 2019. In this role, they executed bond and money market transactions, managed assets and payment transactions, liaised with trading partners, established contracts, and reconciled accounts.

Additionally, Santeri worked at OP Financial Group as an Investment Advisor in June 2018 and as a Service Advisor from May 2016 to August 2017. In these positions, they provided customers with comprehensive asset management and sold investment products.

Santeri's work experience also includes various positions in different companies from August 2007 to October 2014.

Santeri Karevaara obtained their Master's degree in Accounting and Corporate Law from the University of Eastern Finland, a six-year program that took place from 2015 to 2021. In 2017 and 2018, they pursued additional studies at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, focusing on Accounting and Finance. Furthermore, in 2018, they attended Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development, where they acquired a General Securities qualification, specifically APV1.
