Gerhard De Wet has a varied work experience. In 2019, they joined JOBJACK as the CTO, leading the technology team for an entry-level job market place. Gerhard was responsible for scaling and architecting the platform along with company and user requirements, and applied Agile methodology for managing the team. Gerhard also held the role of Senior Software Engineer at JOBJACK. Prior to this, they worked at Aurecon from 2016 as an Electrical Engineer.
Gerhard De Wet received a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stellenbosch University between 2012 and 2015. Gerhard also holds three Coursera Course Certificates, including Machine Learning Foundations: A Case Study Approach by University of Washington (obtained in February 2017), Machine Learning by Stanford University (obtained in February 2017), and Machine Learning: Regression by University of Washington (obtained in April 2017).
