Patrik Drean

Patrik Drean has had a varied work history, beginning in 2015 as a Sales & Marketing Agent at State Farm. Patrik then became a Software Developer for Self-Employed in 2017, followed by a Software Engineer role at Intermountain Healthcare in 2018. In 2019, they moved to Pluralsight as a Software Engineer, and then to Humans of HR as a Software Engineer Team Lead in 2020. Currently, Patrik is the Director of Software Engineering at JobNimbus, where they have also held the roles of Senior Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Manager. In their Senior Software Engineering Manager role, Patrik successfully led the integration of a company acquisition in 6 months, involving 30+ people and resulting in increased revenue and customer retention. As Software Engineering Manager, they hired for multiple cross-functional software engineering teams and grew the company from 2 teams to over 8. Patrik also advocated for and implemented a transition from a monolithic culture to microservices.

Patrik Drean completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business in 2019. Patrik then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from the same university in 2020.
