Cydni Burton (she/her)

Cydni Burton serves as the Director of Professional Development Fund and Alumni Engagement at YNPN Boston since May 2023 and is the Manager of Solutions, Design & Delivery at Jobs for the Future (JFF) since March 2022. Cydni's previous role as Academic, College, and Career Coordinator at METCO, Inc. involved managing external partnerships to enhance opportunities for youth, providing strategic support to district leaders, and overseeing a job readiness internship program. Cydni has experience coordinating post-secondary programs at Summer Search and providing case management for first-generation college students at College Advising Corps. Cydni was a Reach Higher Fellow under First Lady Michelle Obama's initiative and contributed to the UNCF Career Pathways Initiative, focusing on career placement for HBCU graduates. Cydni began a career in youth development as a Youth Service Specialist at Action for Boston Community Development and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Spelman College.
