Elizabeth Keeffe

Director, Operations at Jobs for the Future

Elizabeth Keeffe's work experience includes various roles in different organizations. In 2020, they joined Jobs for the Future (JFF) as a Senior Manager, Program Operations. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Director, Operations at JFF. Prior to that, they worked at The Room40 Group as an Associate Consultant from 2018 to 2020, where they supported strategic planning processes for nonprofits and collaborated with development and communications teams. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, providing academic support to students. Elizabeth also worked as a Consultant at InnerCity Weightlifting (ICW) in 2017, conducting research and analysis for the organization's marketing plan and fundraising strategies. Before that, they held roles as a Spanish & Culinary Arts Teacher & Administrative Assistant at The Montessori School and as an International Volunteer Coordinator at Bridges to Community. Elizabeth also gained experience in sustainable farming as an Apprentice at Fernbrook Farms CSA in 2012 and worked as an Afternoon Manager at Zumbach's Gourmet Coffee Shop from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they have interned at My Sisters' Place and worked as a Retail Salesperson at The Wave.

Elizabeth Keeffe completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies at Dickinson College from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also had a brief educational experience at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Prior to that, they attended New Canaan High School from 2004 to 2008. Later on, from 2010 to 2010, they participated in Sustainable Development Studies at The School for Field Studies. Recently, from 2016 to 2018, Elizabeth Keeffe pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Nonprofit Management & Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Sustainable International Development at Brandeis University.
