Andrew McClard

Andrew McClard has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andrew is currently working as a Design Engineer - Actuators at Joby Aviation since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Moog Space and Defense Group from July 2019 to May 2022, where they held roles as a Design Engineer and Associate Engineer. Andrew'sresponsibilities included actuator development, designing and analyzing electro-mechanical systems, and creating test software.

Before joining Moog, Andrew interned at SpaceX for three consecutive terms from August 2017 to August 2018, where they gained experience in test development and ground support equipment (GSE) design. Andrew also had internships at Spirit AeroSystems in 2017 and G3 Boat Company in 2015, where they gained engineering experience.

Outside of their engineering roles, Andrew worked as a Piano Tuner at McClard Brothers Piano Tuning from July 2002 to May 2014, continuing a fourth-generation family tradition. Andrew also worked as a Lifeguard at Roy Blunt YMCA from July 2012 to November 2013.

Andrew McClard attended Bolivar High School from 2010 to 2014. Andrew then went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2014 to 2019.
