Anuj Pant

Anuj Pant has a diverse range of work experience in the aviation industry. Anuj started their career as an Engineering Trainee at Air India Ltd, where they gained hands-on experience in engine repair, overhaul, and testing. Anuj also worked on various aircraft components such as brake assemblies and engine cowlings.

Anuj then joined Institute Of Satellite Telecom Pvt. Ltd as an Industrial Trainee Engineer, QA. Here, they focused on installation, commissioning, and system integration of Vsat antennas and networks. Anuj also provided site support and implemented process improvements for video data and voice applications.

After that, Anuj worked as a Design Engineering Intern at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. In this role, they collaborated with the Aircraft Upgrade Research and Design Center to design and analyze mechanical parts for aircraft drop-tanks. Anuj utilized software such as Siemens PLM Unigraphics NX4 and ANSYS Fluent for this project.

Anuj's next role was as a Quality Engineer at MANBRAS PLASTRONICS PRIVATE LIMITED. Here, they developed quality systems, implemented quality tools, and prepared action plans for quality issues.

Anuj then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida Institute of Technology. In this position, Anuj developed a novel cooling method to improve the power output of Concentrated Photovoltaic panels. Anuj conducted numerical, analytical, and optimization studies using COMSOL and MATLAB/Simulink.

Anuj's next role was as a Quality Engineer at Embraer Executive Jets. Here, they addressed nonconformances on aircraft components, conducted 8D activities, and communicated with suppliers.

Following that, Anuj joined Piper Aircraft as an Avionics/Electrical Engineer. Anuj created solid models, engineering orders, test plans, and reports using NX software. Anuj also presented trade study presentations on system upgrades and modifications.

Anuj's most recent role is as an Avionics System Engineer at Eviation Aircraft. Anuj represents avionics systems in design, integration, test, and flight. Anuj manages avionic system requirements, defines and manages interfaces between avionics and satellite systems.

Anuj will be joining Joby Aviation as a Senior System Engineer in 2023.

Anuj Pant's education history includes a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology, obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a one-year diploma in Engineering in Design and Operation of Unmanned Systems from Unmanned Engineeria in Chennai, India, from 2015 to 2016.

Anuj obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Aerospace Engineering from Hindustan University, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. Anuj'shigh school education consists of completing ISE from The Bishop's School from 2009 to 2011 and ICSE from The Bishop's Co-ed School in Pune from 2005 to 2009.

Additionally, in 2015, Anuj acquired a certification in UAV-Design and Operation from Unmanned Engineeria.

Currently, Anuj is pursuing an Executive MBA from New England College, which started in 2021 and will continue until 2023.
