Armaghan Asghar

Armaghan Asghar has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Summer Intern at The Citizens Foundation, where they analyzed student scholarship results, supervised workshops, and mentored other interns. In 2017, they joined Afiniti as an Associate Software Engineer, where they identified and resolved software production issues, managed build dependencies, and resolved data inconsistency issues. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Software Engineer at Afiniti, specializing in modern C++ development and maintaining micro-services that supported Afiniti's AI software. In 2021, they transitioned to the Information Sciences Institute as a Research Engineer, focusing on delivering a tailored machine learning product and service in Federated Machine Learning, utilizing Modern C++, Python, and Docker. Armaghan is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Joby Aviation, beginning in 2023.

Armaghan Asghar has a strong educational background in Computer Science. From 2013 to 2017, Armaghan attended the Institute of Business Administration, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Building on this foundation, Armaghan enrolled at the University of Southern California in 2021 and is expected to graduate in 2023 with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Armaghan has obtained a certification in MS Computer Science from the University of Southern California in May 2023.
