Cedrick Bit has a diverse work experience spanning multiple manufacturing companies. Cedrick is currently employed at Joby Aviation as an Inceptor and Electronics Manufacturing Lead since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at L3Harris Technologies as an Associate Manager of Manufacturing Engineering from August 2021 to March 2022, and as a Specialist Manufacturing Engineer from September 2019 to August 2021.
Before joining L3Harris Technologies, Cedrick worked at Shur-Lok Co., SPS Fasteners Division as a Manufacturing Engineer from June 2017 to December 2018, where they provided technical and manufacturing support for machining and assembly work centers. Cedrick has also worked at Eaton Aerospace as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer from July 2016 to June 2017, and at Parker Aerospace as a Manufacturing Engineer from December 2011 to August 2016.
Cedrick started their career at RBC Bearings as a Manufacturing Engineer from July 2010 to December 2011, where they provided technical manufacturing support and led continuous improvement activities using 5S Methodology. Overall, Cedrick has extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, problem-solving, and implementing lean manufacturing practices.
Cedrick Bit pursued their education in a chronological manner. Cedrick began their academic journey at San Joaquin Delta College in 2003, where they spent four years but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field of study. Following this, from 2007 to 2010, Cedrick attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, focusing on Manufacturing Engineering, and ultimately earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in this field.
