Dave Lyons

Dave Lyons is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader in the technology and engineering sectors, currently serving in Propulsion Systems at Joby Aviation since March 2023. With extensive experience as a mentor/advisor at STARTX since June 2012, Lyons has fostered startup growth through structured resources and networks. As the founder and CEO of Resharp.com from May 2017 to February 2023, Lyons developed an innovative knife sharpening solution, which was later acquired by The Hillman Group in August 2019. Previously, Lyons held strategic roles at Renovo Motors, Peloton Technology, Clover Network, and served in early-stage investment positions at Claremont Creek Ventures and Accel Partners. An engineering expert, Lyons also directed product development at Glacier Bay and holds advanced degrees from Stanford University and MIT.
