Didier Papadopoulos

Head of Aircraft OEM at Joby Aviation

Didier Papadopoulos is currently the Head of Aircraft OEM at Joby Aviation. Didier has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, having previously worked as Vice President, Aviation Systems, Programs, and Business Development at Garmin, where they managed the G1000 avionics integration system as part of the development of the Embraer Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 aircrafts.

Prior to joining Garmin, Didier worked as an Avionics Systems Specialist at CAE Inc for five years. In this role, they were responsible for the design, development, and implementation of avionics systems for a variety of aircraft.

Didier has a passion for aviation and has dedicated their career to making it safer and more efficient. Didier is an expert in avionics systems and has played a key role in the development of several groundbreaking aircraft.

Didier Papadopoulos has a Masters in Mechanical Engineering - Robotics and Automation from McGill University, a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from American University of Beirut, and has done Graduate Studies in Management from HEC Montréal.

Didier Papadopoulos reports to Joeben Bevirt, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Roy Feague - Head of Data Engineering, Eric Allison - Head of Product, and Matt Field - CFO.
