Jason Ryan has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Their most recent position was as a Flight Control Systems Lead at Joby Aviation, where they started in July 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Control Systems Engineer at the same company from April 2016 to July 2019. Before joining Joby Aviation, Jason worked as a Software Developer at an independent company from August 2015 to May 2016. Jason also gained research experience through their roles at Stanford University, where they worked as a Research Assistant from October 2011 to March 2016 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from January 2013 to June 2013. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Stanford University from 2009-2012. Jason continued their education at Stanford and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2012-2016. Prior to their college studies, they attended Chadwick School from 2001-2005.
