Laura García

Laura García has extensive work experience in various roles related to talent development, learning and development, and academic coordination. Laura is currently working as a Talent Development Partner at Joby Aviation since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Health Connected starting in August 2021. From November 2021 to February 2022, they worked as a Learning & Development Consultant at SummerBio.

Laura also has experience in a leadership position as the Head of Learning & Development at Visby Medical from December 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they worked at Harvey Mudd College, where they held the position of Assistant Director (Upward Bound) from June 2018 to September 2020 and Academic Coordinator (Upward Bound) from February 2016 to June 2018.

Additionally, they worked as a Lead Inclusion Specialist at CALS Middle School from August 2013 to February 2016 and as a Lead Behavior Therapist at Familias First from August 2012 to June 2013.

Laura García has a Master of Arts degree in Business Management with a focus on Organizational Behavior & Leadership from Claremont Graduate University. Laura also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from UC Santa Barbara. Additionally, Laura studied English Language and Literature/Letters at the University of Sussex.
