Maxine Nelson

Maxine Nelson is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive expertise in aircraft icing systems and certification. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at Joby Aviation since September 2018, Maxine contributes to various testing and certification processes, including DO-160G zonal environmental documentation and icing tunnel testing. Concurrently functioning as a consultant, Maxine provides guidance on ice protection, ground de-icing, and fire suppression for e-VTOL systems. Experience as an Aircraft Icing Specialist at AeroTEC and Eclipse Aviation includes involvement in flight test programs and the design and certification of de-icing systems.
