Naved Khan began their work experience in 2007 as a Research Associate at the National Institute for Aviation Research. Naved then worked as a Mechanical Engineering intern at Bloom Energy in 2011. From 2012 to 2017, they held the role of Materials, Process and Test Engineer at Kestrel Aircraft. In 2018, Naved joined Joby Aviation as the Composite Materials and Process Lead.
Naved Khan completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Wichita State University. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university. In addition to their formal education, Naved has obtained several certifications including CATIA V5 Associate - Part Design from Dassault Systèmes, Composite Structural Engineering Technology (CSET) from Wichita State University, Leadership Principles for Engineers, Scientists, and Researchers from MIT xPRO, Member (MRAeS) from the Royal Aeronautical Society, and Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from ASQ - World Headquarters.
