Nilesh Mistry

Nilesh Mistry has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nilesh started in 1994 as a Production Line Supervisor at Bond Technologies. Nilesh then worked as a Mechanical Designer at InSync Systems from 1996 to 2000. At Luminous Networks, from 2000 to 2002, Nilesh designed two chassis and successfully reduced the cost of a plastic part. From 2003 to 2004, Nilesh worked as a Mechanical Designer at Intrabay Automation, where they gained experience with linear actuators and robotics. At Agilent Technologies, Nilesh started as a Mechanical Engineer in 2004, working on frame and enclosure designs. Nilesh was later promoted to Custom Solutions, Engineering Manager, where they managed a team and refined processes and procedures. Nilesh then joined Tesla in 2014 as a Senior Mechanical Designer, where they integrated safety into current tools and worked with cross-functional teams. Since 2018, Nilesh has been working at Joby Aviation as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, where they design fixtures, maintains vendor relationships, and maintains Solidworks templates and macros.

Nilesh Mistry obtained an A.S. degree in Engineering Presentations, Mechanical & Architectural from an unspecified school, spanning from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1989, they attended Hyde Sixth Form College, where they completed their A levels in Math, Computer, and Commerce.
