Patrick Ng

Patrick Ng has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Patrick most recently worked as a Senior Application Engineer at Joby Aviation starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Group Manager at Avanade from April 2022 to May 2023. Before their time at Avanade, Patrick worked at RSM US LLP for several years, where they progressed from Senior Associate (December 2015 - August 2018) to Supervisor (August 2018 - August 2021) and finally to Manager (August 2021 - April 2022). Patrick also worked as a Senior Consultant at Junction Solutions from July 2013 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, Patrick served as an Algorithm Development Research Engineer at Tek84 Inc. from February 2012 to September 2012. Patrick gained experience as a Financial Assistant at UC San Diego Health - Moores Cancer Center from September 2008 to June 2012. Patrick started their career as a Junior Engineer at Cognionics, Inc. from July 2011 to February 2012.

Patrick Ng obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego, which they completed from 2005 to 2010. Patrick then pursued a Master of Science degree in the same field from UC San Diego, which they completed from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Patrick has also received several certifications, including the Machine Learning Specialization, Unsupervised Learning, Recommenders, Reinforcement Learning, Advanced Learning Algorithms, and AI For Everyone, all from Coursera. Patrick also holds certifications from Microsoft, including MB-700: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP). Patrick's most recent certification was the MB-200 Microsoft Power Platform + Dynamics 365 Core, obtained in May 2020.
