Wut Yee Oo has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries and roles. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Surface Metrology Lab Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In 2012, they worked as a Technical Drafter at CHT4 Corporation and later as an Office Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

In 2013, Wut Yee Oo joined Eppendorf AG as a Mechanical Engineering Co-op. The following year, in 2014, they became an Undergraduate Researcher at WPI Soft Robotics Lab, where their work focused on Analytical and Numerical Modelling of Soft Silicone Pneumatic Actuator.

In 2014, they also gained experience as a Hardware Engineer at EMC. In 2016, Wut Yee Oo worked as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Acorn Product Development, Inc.

From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Neuralink. During this time, Wut Yee Oo also served as a Course Assistant at Stanford University.

Their most recent experience includes working at Joby Aviation since January 2019. Initially, they held the role of Mechanical Engineer until May 2020, after which they transitioned into the position of R&D, Test Equipment Engineer.

Wut Yee Oo pursued their education in a chronological manner. Wut Yee first attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. During their time at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, they also completed a minor in Robotics Engineering. Following that, they enrolled at Stanford University from 2015 to 2017, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, in February 2013, Wut Yee Oo obtained a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systèmes.
