Makar Barsoom

Makar Barsoom is an experienced architect with a diverse background in the architectural field, currently serving as an Architect at Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes since August 2023. Prior to this role, Makar worked at Figurr Architects Collective from February 2021 to September 2023 and gained experience as an Intern Architect-Architect at Atelier Bouré Therrien Architectes Inc. Makar began a career in architecture with internships at Atnasious architecte and BISHAI, DUCHESNE ARCHITECTES. Earlier professional experience includes significant roles at Orascom Development Egypt, overseeing the Realestate Engineering Department, and serving as a Senior Architect at Orascom Hotels & Development. Makar's educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Building Engineering from Concordia University and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Engineering.
