Mélanie Watchman is an accomplished architect and research professional with extensive experience in architecture and education. Currently serving as an Architect at Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes and as a Research Professional with Sentinelle Nord | Sentinel North, Mélanie has previously held positions as an Architect at Marie-Josée Deschênes, architecte inc., and as a Course Instructor at École d'architecture de l'Université Laval. With a solid foundation in research roles, Mélanie has contributed to various projects, including theoretical and applied research in architectural perception, as a Visiting Research Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee, and involvement in eco-responsible wood construction. Mélanie earned a PhD and multiple degrees in architecture from Université Laval and has enhanced academic programs through teaching and assistant roles, showcasing a commitment to advancing architectural knowledge and practice.
