Anne Kokkonen

Anne Kokkonen is a seasoned project manager currently leading the Innocity Joensuu 2 project at the City of Joensuu since January 2023, focusing on communications, marketing, and brand development. Prior to this role, Kokkonen served as a marketing coordinator at VisitKarelia, enhancing destination marketing and sustainable tourism from March 2020 to January 2023. Previous experiences include B2B cooperation and human resources at Luotsi Joensuu, and media sales representation at Sanomalehti Karjalainen Oy, where skills in marketing, sales, and project management were further developed. Kokkonen's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Service Management from the University of Eastern Finland and a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management from North Karelia University of Applied Sciences, complemented by an exchange program at Fudan University.
