Dave Collins

Dave Collins has a diverse background in sports broadcasting and journalism. Dave started their career in 2004 as a Sports Department Intern at KCNC-TV. From there, they moved on to KSID Radio & Freelance, where they worked as a Sports Play-by-Play Announcer, Sports Director, and News Director. In this role, they called play-by-play for over 900 live games and covered high school football, basketball, baseball, and volleyball. Dave then joined Learfield - Nebraska Radio Network as a News Stringer before eventually transitioning to their current position at Eagle Communications, where they serve as the Sports Director and Radio Voice of Chadron State College Athletics. In this role, they handle radio play-by-play for college sports, writes and anchors daily sportscasts, and manages pre-and-post game content and promotions. Dave's work experience spans over 15 years in the field of sports broadcasting and journalism.

Dave Collins attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Journalism with a field of study in Broadcasting.
