Manufacturing Quality Engineer II at Johanson Technology, Inc.

Miriam Macias has extensive work experience, beginning with their role as a Physics Tutor and Electronic Systems T.A. at College of the Desert in 2015. Miriam also served as an Air Quality Intern at College of the Desert in 2015, researching the effect of gaseous emissions from restaurant cooking in the Southern California Basin. In 2017, they became a Technology Intern at Hot Purple Energy, where they redesigned physical database schema and performance tuning of the primary database used daily by administrative staff. In 2018, they held three roles at the University of California, Merced: Project Manager, Design Team Lead, and Aircraft Restoration Intern. In 2020, they began working at South Bay Cable as a Planning Engineer, gathering and analyzing requirements for test measurement systems. Finally, in 2022, they began working at Johanson Technology, Inc. as a Manufacturing Quality Engineer I, and also began working at Hot Purple Energy again as an Engineering Project Manager.

Miriam Macias has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Merced (2018-2020). Prior to that, they attended College of the Desert from 2013-2017. Miriam began their educational journey at Cathedral City High School, where they earned their High School Degree from 2009-2013. Miriam has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including Quality Management Foundations (September 2022), How to Set Goals When Everything Feels Like a Priority (June 2022), Common Meeting Problems (January 2020), Creating a Meeting Agenda (January 2020), and Women Transforming Tech: Building Your Brand (October 2019).
