Dan Slentz serves as the Director of Blue Streak Media at John Carroll University since January 2025. With a robust career in engineering and media, Dan has been an Engineering Consultant for voiceover projects and audio technologies since June 2012. Dan has contributed as a freelance writer for NewBay Media since 2009. Prior roles include Director of Technology & Engineering at WOIO/WUAB/WTCL in Cleveland, and Chief Video Engineer for The Cleveland Orchestra, overseeing UHD video technology. Dan's extensive experience encompasses leadership positions at New World Symphony, KOB-TV, KERA, WSFL TV, and WHIZ Media Group. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from Ohio University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Public Relations from the Community College of the Air Force.
